CVS 101
In: Money Makers
I’ve shared the news with many of you about how I’m getting free diapers, wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, bath soap, razors, and lots of other things from my dear friends at CVS. Because of them, our food and “toiletries” expense category in our budget was only $50 for the three of us. Before you think that’s too great, though, you should check out my friend, Keren’s blog, who lives on only $20 a week!! http://danandkeren.wordpress.com)
Let me recommend a couple of sites that can really help you “newbies”! www.moneysavingmom.com and www.imommies.com both have excellent posts on getting started with CVS. In fact there’s even a post for beginners to build up their Extra Care Bucks (you’ll understand that soon!) with less than $2 out of pocket!
So, good luck, and let me know how you’re all doing! I’ll put up a picture soon of all the stuff I’ve gotten in the last 4 weeks or so (minus the four packs of diapers I’ve already used!) for less than $30 out of pocket. Here’s a picture of what my friend, Keren, got – and actually made money! 🙂 Go, Keren! http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn314/krackley220/hanakatecvs-7.jpg

I’ve been doing really great there too . . . I’m trying to get the Weekleys onboard with it all . . . too funny. 🙂 Tim and I are hooked! I did FANTASTIC at Kroger this week too . . . I put a picture on my blog.
